Ingredients:
One hotdog
One medium potato
Plenty of oil for deep frying
For the batter:
100gms of plain flour
75gms of cornmeal
1 egg
2 teaspoons of sugar
half a cup of milk
Method:
Suggestions:
Instead of dicing the potato leave them as fries.
Exchange the hotdog for cheese, such as cheesestrings.

Method:
- Mix together the ingredients for the batter
- Peel & dice the potato about the width of a french fry and season with salt to draw out some of the excess moisture. Then fry the potatoes until they begin to golden. leave to dry on a kitchen towel.
- Skewer the hotdog and roll in some flower.
- Coat the hotdog in the batter, then cover with the par-cooked Pommes Rissolées to the dog. Fry until the Pommes Rissolées begin to brown.
