I have been actually reading the Facebook Feed today - rather than just glancing through it and reading what caught my eye - and noticed all these different phylosophical standpoints put onto images can really make you see things in light of what you are inclined toward in a particular ideology.
when reading a Christian friends post after reading a post on scientific ignorance I noticed this strange dislike for what they were saying. equating what they thought about one thing with a lack of inteligence and understanding of science; even though it had nothing to do with science.
The same has happened on YouTube. Sitting there watching some current affairs program then a link to a particular person mentioned in it, the opinion of that person is swayed to that of the initial presenter or programs opinion.
We all have core fundamental beliefs which are important to us and focusing on programs, images, or reports that favour that important core feeds the identification of that important core. our beliefs are something we hold onto strongly as ours, even if they are influenced, or inherited.we hold onto as ours most
